These creamy chicken croquettes are crispy golden bites packed with juicy chicken, veggies, and a rich creamy filling. Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or party starter, they’re crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Serve them with ketchup, garlic mayo, or any dip of your choice!

Step by step method
Step 1

Prepare Creamy Filling Heat butter and oil in a pan. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until fragrant. Add chopped onion, capsicum, and carrot — cook for 2–3 minutes. Stir in shredded chicken, salt, black pepper, paprika, and chilli powder. Add vinegar and soy sauce. Mix well. Sprinkle in flour and cook for a minute. Gradually pour in milk, stirring continuously to make a thick creamy mixture. Cook until mixture leaves sides of the pan. Let it cool completely.

Step 2

Shape Croquettes Take small portions of mixture and shape into cylinders or balls. Roll in flour, dip in beaten egg, and coat with breadcrumbs. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to firm up.

Step 3

Fry Heat oil in a deep pan. Fry croquettes until golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

Step 4

Serve hot with garlic mayo, ketchup, or your favorite dip!

Tips & variations
  • Freeze shaped croquettes for up to 1 month — fry directly from frozen when needed.
  • Add cheese to the filling for an extra creamy taste.
  • For a lighter version, bake at 200°C for 20 minutes instead of deep frying.
