Creamy chicken white handi is a rich and flavorful pakistani/indian-style curry made with tender chicken cooked in a yogurt-based white masala, fresh cream, and aromatic spices. The smooth, velvety texture combined with green chilies, capsicum, and a hint of cheese gives this dish its signature creamy taste. Perfect for family dinners, dawats, or festive occasions, this handi pairs beautifully with naan, paratha, or steamed rice.
Cook Onions & Chicken: Heat oil in a handi (or pan). Add chopped onions and fry until light golden. Add chicken pieces and cook until they change color.
Step 2Add Spices & Yogurt: Add salt, black pepper, white pepper, cumin powder, and coriander powder. Mix well. Add whisked yogurt and cook on medium flame until oil separates.
Step 3Add Vegetables & Cream: Add green chilies and sliced capsicum. Cook for 2–3 minutes. Pour in fresh cream and mix well.
Step 4Finish with Cheese & Garnish: Add a cheese slice and stir until melted for extra creaminess. Garnish with fresh coriander and extra green chilies.
Step 5Serve: Serve hot with naan, paratha, or rice.
