This creamy alfredo bread is a cheesy, garlicky, and flavorful snack made with rich alfredo sauce, tender chicken, and a crispy baked bread base. It’s the ultimate comfort food that combines the taste of creamy pasta alfredo with the crispiness of toasted bread. Perfect as a side dish, appetizer, or a quick meal, this recipe can be made non-veg with chicken or turned into a vegetarian version with veggies.

Step by step method
Step 1

Cook Chicken: Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and chilli flakes/peri peri. Pan-fry until golden and cooked through. Set aside.

Step 2

Prepare Alfredo Sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add cream, milk, and chicken stock cube (if using). Stir well. Mix in cheese, salt, white pepper, and chilli flakes. Cook until thick and creamy.

Step 3

Assemble Bread: Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F). Spread Alfredo sauce generously on bread slices. Add chicken on top and sprinkle extra cheese.

Step 4

Bake: Bake on the middle rack for 6–7 minutes, until bread is crisp and cheese melts.

Step 5

Slice and serve hot for the best flavor.

  • Make it Veg: Skip chicken and stock cube; use mushrooms, spinach, or capsicum instead.
  • For extra flavor, drizzle with oregano or top with fresh parsley before serving.
