These fudgy brownies are rich, moist, and irresistibly chocolatey – the perfect treat for every chocolate lover. Made with simple ingredients like eggs, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and a hint of coffee, these brownies turn out soft and chewy with a decadent fudgy center. You can enhance them further by adding melted chocolate, Nutella, chocolate chunks, or chocolate chips for an extra indulgent flavor. Baked to perfection in just 15–20 minutes at 180°C, this easy homemade brownie recipe is ideal for beginners and guaranteed to satisfy your sweet cravings. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzle with chocolate sauce, or simply enjoy them as they are.

Step by step method
Step 1

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs and powdered sugar until well combined.

Step 3

Add oil (or melted butter), vanilla essence, and dissolved coffee. Mix well.

Step 4

Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gently fold into the wet mixture.

Step 5

Add melted chocolate, Nutella, or chocolate chunks/chips if desired. Mix lightly

Step 6

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.

Step 7

Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).

Step 8

Allow to cool slightly, decorate if desired, cut into squares, and serve.

Tips & variations
  • Don’t overmix – After adding flour and cocoa, fold gently. Overmixing makes brownies cakey instead of fudgy.
  • Coffee is a secret booster – It won’t make your brownies taste like coffee but will enhance the chocolate flavor.
