Malai Chicken Tikka Roll

This malai chicken tikka roll is creamy, flavorful, and absolutely irresistible! Tender boneless chicken is marinated with cream, yogurt, cheese, and warm spices, then air-fried to perfection. Wrapped in a paratha or naan with a tangy-spicy mayo sauce, this roll is the ultimate comfort food.

Step by step method
Step 1

Marinate Chicken In a large bowl, combine chicken cubes with ginger garlic paste, lime juice, salt, and oil. Add yogurt, cream, cheese, cardamom, coriander, cumin, black pepper, cumin powder, garam masala, mint, and green chilies. Mix until chicken is well coated. Cover and marinate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best flavor).

Step 2

Cook Chicken Air fry at 160°C for 20–25 minutes until golden and cooked through. (You can also grill or bake at 180°C for 25 minutes.)

Step 3

Prepare Sauce In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, hot sauce, and black pepper until smooth.

Step 4

Assemble Rolls Warm parathas/naan. Add a layer of sauce, followed by malai chicken tikka. Top with onions/lettuce (optional). Roll up and serve hot!

Tips & variations
  • For extra smoky flavor, give the chicken a quick charcoal dhungar after air frying.
  • Add grated mozzarella before rolling for a cheesy twist.
  • Adjust sauces to taste — spicier, tangier, or creamier!
