White Chicken Karahi

This white chicken karahi is a creamy, rich, and flavorful dish made with butter, yogurt, and cream. A perfect showstopper for family dinners and gatherings, best enjoyed with hot naan or roti.

Step by step method
Step 1

Cook the Base Heat butter + oil in a wok (karahi). Add onion paste and sauté until light golden. Add chicken and fry well until it changes color.

Step 2

Add Spices Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for 5 minutes. Add coriander powder, cumin, red chili, black pepper, white pepper, and salt. Mix well. Add chopped green chilies.

Step 3

Make it Creamy Add whisked yogurt and cook until chicken is tender and oil separates. Stir in fresh cream at the end for richness.

Step 4

Garnish & Serve Garnish with fresh coriander and ginger slices. Serve hot with naan or roti.

  • Use bone-in chicken for richer flavor.
  • Adjust cream and yogurt according to desired creaminess.
  • For extra aroma, add a squeeze of lemon before serving.
