Creamy mushroom chicken is a rich, flavorful, and comforting dish made with juicy grilled chicken fillets, fresh vegetables, and a velvety mushroom sauce. This easy homemade recipe combines tender chicken, sautéed mushrooms, garlic, and milk (or cream) with a perfect blend of herbs and spices, creating a restaurant-style meal in just 30 minutes. Perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions, this creamy chicken pairs beautifully with mashed potatoes, fries, rice, or garlic bread. The grilled veggies like carrot, zucchini, and broccoli add freshness and color, making the dish wholesome and well-balanced. Prepare Chicken & Veggies . Season chicken fillets with salt, black pepper, and chili powder. Grill or pan-sear the chicken until golden brown and fully cooked. Lightly grill or steam the vegetables (carrot, zucchini, broccoli) until tender but still crunchy.
Step 2Make Creamy Mushroom Sauce . Heat oil in a pan, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant. Add mushrooms and cook until soft. Pour in milk (or cream) and season with salt, black pepper, chili flakes, and oregano. Stir and simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Step 3Place grilled chicken on a plate with vegetables. Pour creamy mushroom sauce over the chicken. Serve hot with fries, mashed potatoes, or garlic bread.
